As urologists incorporate new advances in imaging technology, our field has become increasingly dependent on our diagnostic and interventional radiology colleagues. One of the most important aspects of these collaborations is managing communication and expectations. As new technologies enter the armamentarium, it is important to develop a mutual understanding of workflow management and the key concepts utilized to foster a beneficial working environment.
