Abstract
Angioedema can have a variety of causes, including drugs, food, wasp or bee stings and C1 esterase inhibitor deficiency, but often no explanation is found. Here, we briefly review the clinical presentation of angioedema, its etiology and emphasize the various conditions that can be confounded with angioedema. Principles of treatment are mentioned.
