Abstract

EBV antigens are discussed in some detail. This is followed by a brief consideration of other lymphotropic herpesviruses. The vast field of lytic herpesviruses and their antigenic products is not discussed, since the association of these viruses and their antigens with neoplastic disease is not yet clearly defined and any attempt to relate them to the lymphotropic herpesviruses would rest on very tenuous grounds.
