Abstract
Autologous fat transplantation is grafting of living tissue, making it the most advantageous filler substance. The successful use of autologous fat tissue augmentation has been advocated for over a century. In this manuscript, some of the most recent advances in autologous fat transplantation will be discussed including the Pan-facial technique proposed by Lisa Donofrio, MD, Liposculture proposed by Sidney Coleman, MD, and further advanced by Roger Amar, MD, using the Fat Micrografting Micro injection (FAMI) technique. A more-in-depth look at the viability, longevity, and survival of centrifugea and frozen fat for gradual sequential injections will be discussed.
