Understanding Pouch-Related Fistulae: Don't Lose Track of Time

Abstract

Patients with early-onset pouch-related fistula (PRF) within 12 months of surgery had significantly higher rates of postoperative anastomotic leakage and abscess, while patients with late-onset PRF had significantly higher rates of Crohns-disease-like pouch inflammation.
