Abstract
Evaluating pleural masses with diagnostic imaging can be challenging. This is especially true when the etiology is metastatic liposarcoma, as this case presentation demonstrates. Multiple invasive procedures were nondiagnostic. Ultrasonography proved effective in locating the pleural mass and guiding a definitive transthoracic biopsy.
