Multiple nodules in uterine muscle and pelvic tumor presented in one patient. Equal echo lesions extending to one side of internal iliac vein and external iliac vein or common iliac vein were found with color Doppler ultrasound in all patients: involving the lower segment of inferior vena in 4 patients, the whole range of inferior vena in 3 patients, including homogenous masses extending to the right atrium in 2 of them. Conclusion: Despite its complex and diverse clinical manifestations, there are some typical ultrasonic features of IVL.
