Two unusual cases of behcet's disease

Abstract

Behcet's disease is an inflammatory disorder of unknown etiology typically characterized by recurrent painless oral ulcers, genital ulcers, skin lesions, and intraocular inflammation. The disease is usually found in patients of Eastern Asian to Mediterranean basin descent. This article discusses the case of two patients seen in a Brooklyn, NY office with Behcet's disease, both of whom are of Italian descent.
