Abstract
A thymoma presenting in a 13 yr old boy is discussed. These tumors are not as uncommon in childhood as is generally believed. The use of sonography in predicting the nature of the tumor and the indicated treatment is discussed. The absence of postoperative radiographic abnormalities in this patient suggests a cure by resection.
