Abstract

Preventing diabetes requires lifestyle modi fi cations to change the most basic habits- how we eat and how active we are in our free time. From a patient perspective, these changes are recommended to address the results of a blood test showing an elevated sugar, with no associated symptoms, to reduce the risk of a disease they do not officially have.
