Abstract
This chapter discusses how providers can complete a knee exam during a telemedicine visit. Begin with a thorough history of present illness and past medical history and social history. The physical exam is best with a person to assist the patient, but it can be done with the patient solo. This chapter describes the best way to lead a patient through the physical exam so providers can obtain as much information as possible for diagnosis in a telemedicine setting to determine the proper management and follow-up needed.
