Abstract

It is very difficult for fabrication of large or deep convex aspheric lens at all times. Based on third-order aberration theory, a null testing system is designed using compensator for an off-axis convex hyperboloid mirror, which avoids that the aperture of auxiliary lens is overmuch larger when the Hindle test is applied. As a result, aberration of convex hyperboloid mirror is well corrected, so it is convenient for testing.
