N2 - The reactions of thiosemicarbazones, derived by the condensation of acetylferrocene and different thiosemicarbazides (phenyl thiosemicarbazidel 4-chlorophenyl thiosemicarbazide, 4-nitrophenyl thiosemicarbazide, 2- methylphenyl thiosemicarbazide. 4-methylphenylthiosemicarbazide), with mono(cyclopentadienyl)titanium(IV) chloride have been studied in anhydrous tetrahydrofuran in the presence of amine. Tentative structural conclusions are drawn for the reaction products based upon elemental analyses, electrical conductance, magnetic moment and spectral (electronic, infrared and 1H NMR) data.
