Abstract
Sickle cell anemia is associated with an increased frequency of cholelithiasis. Onset of symptoms of sickle cell anemia is most common within the first decade of life. We have described a male adult in whom choledocholithiasis subsequently led to the diagnosis of sickle cell anemia.
