Abstract

The annealing character of transparent ceramics MgAl2O4 after irradiated by electron, proton and γ-ray is studied by positron annihilation technique (PAT), PATFTT program and MELT program. It is found that the defects in transparent ceramics MgAl2O4 irradiated by three rays will disassemble and assemble with the increasing of annealing temperature. The authors also find that the defects in transparent ceramics MgAl2O4 will disassemble at 250°C and disappear at 500°C.
