Abstract

This article examines the expanding field of endovascular procedures as they relate to the accurate diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease using minimally invasive approaches. These exciting new advances, including the use of intravascular stents and stented graft devices, for treating the full spectrum of arterial lesions have fueled continuing progress in catheter- based vascular therapy.
