Abstract
A new static phase-shifter based on PWM AC controller was presented. The modes in one switching cycle of single-bridge PWN phase-shifter were analyzed theoretically, and the parameter design formula of bypass capacitor and bleeder was given. A new multi-bridge AC controller was proposed to restrict the harmonics generated by PWM phase-shifter, and reduce switching frequency and loss. The voltage transfer function of the multi-bridge AC controller and the expression of the multi-bridge phase-shifter line injected voltage were derived. The correctness of the theoretical derivation has been verified by computer simulation and physical model experiment.
