Abstract
Two patients on chronic maintenance hemodialysis developed spontaneous mediastinal hemorrhage. Although spontaneous bleeding has been described in patients on chronic hemodialysis, spontaneous mediastinal hemorrhage has not been reported. If this complication is recognized, a conservative approach may be justified.
