Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has unveiled the significant impact of social determinants of health on health outcomes, including mental health outcomes. Social determinants of health are the conditions in which we live, work, and play, but they are a leading cause of health disparities, particularly in marginalized communities. This article will discuss the implications of COVID-19 on the mental health of marginalized groups and the role that pharmacists can engage in, providing critical resources to aid individuals of marginalized communities in meeting their physical and mental health needs.
