Abstract

Sexual dysfunction refers to a problem which prevents an individual or an individual’s partner from experiencing satisfaction from sexual activity. Sexual dysfunction is common and is often correlated with other health conditions, such as cardiovascular disorders, diabetes, and mental health. This chapter delves into the topic of sexuality discussing how to diagnose sexual dysfunction, what treatments are available, and how to counsel individuals.
