Abstract

Local failure remains a major issue for patients with both resectable and locally advanced pancreatic cancer. The role of radiation therapy in the management of this disease is less clear and represents an area of some controversy. The objective of this review is to present the rationale for radiation therapy in pancreatic cancer, as well as to discuss the potential limitations and caveats of the currently available studies. J.
