Abstract
Based on normalized periodic regression forecasting model, the monthly precipitation and runoff in Xinfengjiang River basin are analyzed, simulated and predicted. The fitting and predicting results are close to the observed ones, which proves that the model is feasible. The model also has a strong point that can ensure the confidence interval by proceeding the F-test on PF, the maximum left-hand probability, with abundant serial information.
