Abstract

This paper presents a multi-channel neural signal acquisition system based on PCI and DSP. The system utilizes CPLD to realize logical and timing control between DSP and multi-channel ADC. The interface between DSP's HPI and PCI bus is employed to achieve high-speed data transmission. This paper also introduces the technique of PCI device driver programming based on WDM using DriverStudio in Windows 2000. Finally, the experimental result of acquiring rat EEG signal using this system is given.
