Abstract
A pendunculated submucosal lipoma was removed at a depth of 75 cm. from the anus in a 60 yr old man whose multiple medical illnesses precluded formal surgical laparotomy. The procedure was performed without anesthesia and without discomfort to the patient. Morbidity associated with this procedure is extremely low.
