Abstract

A first approximation model for fiber remodeling in the developing heart is introduced. The model can given fiber angle distributions that are realistic, but the fiber angle distribution varies greatly with changes in the reference end-diastolic sarcomere length. Thus, systole would begin with each myocyte contributing equal contractile force.
