Abstract
The present study compared the dose-mortality curves of sensitized rats kept under conditions standardized for periodicity analysis and challenged with an antigen at 4-hour intervals during a 24-hour period. There were no differences in susceptibility to lethal anaphylaxis in relation to time of challenge. The findings are discussed in terms of circadian variations in pituitary-adrenocortical function.
