Abstract
The superiorly based nasolabial island flap is a versatile method for reconstructing lower, mid, and upper nasal defects. Our technique and successful experience in eight consecutive cases are presented. Cadaver injection studies were performed and demonstrated the important contribution of the infraorbital artery to the blood supply of this flap.
