Abstract
The technique and experience of the authors with 14 hypopharynx-cervical esophagus reconstructions using the pectoralis major island myocutaneous flap are preseted. Reconstruction is accomplished safely and expeditiously in two stages with this versatile flap. It has become the method of choice for pharyngoesophageal reconstruction.
