Abstract

After intravenous injection, 11C octylamine HCl is rapidly sequestered by the rabbit lung. The initial lung uptake during the first minute was 70 ± 6% of the administered dose, and 40% of the injected dose remained after 15 min. Approximately 12% of the administered radioactivity is exhaled as 11CO2 during the first 30 min.
