Abstract

The process of preparing K371 nonpolluting rubber extender oil from vacuum cut of Kelamayi naphthene base crude was developed. The process is an integration of primary furfural extraction, hydrorefining, secondary furfural extraction, and clay treating. UV absorber UV-327 was added to the finished oil. The commercial test showed that C/A, UV absorption value, and apparent colority of the product are < 1, 0.5, and 4%, respectively, and that the product quality reached that of the high-grade imported ones.
