Preparation of nonpolluting pale rubber extender oil from naphthene base crude

Research output: Contribution to journal › Article › peer-review

Abstract

The production process for preparing K371 nonpolluting rubber extender oil from the vacuum cut of Kelamayi naphthene base crude was developed. The process was an integration of primary furfural extraction, hydrorefining, secondary furfural extraction and clay treating, and UV-327 ultraviolet absorber was added to the finished oil. The commercial test showed that the CA, ultraviolet absorption value and apparent colourity of the product were less than 1%, 0.5 and 4 respectively, and its quality reached the high-grade imported ones.
