Abstract

Heteropolyacid compounds (HPA) are acidic catalysts with interesting structural characteristics and catalytic performance. This is reflected in the level of research published in the past. That work only recognized HPA as a solid acid with strong acid character, but not as a superacid because its acid strength (H₀) was greater than -8.2.
