Abstract
There are at least two types of potential changes associated with eye movements in the visual system. One reflects the activity of the central neural organizations which produce rapid eye movements and blinks. The second is a light evoked response generated in the retina by the movement of the eyes. A third type of potential change is induced by eye muscle proprioceptors in the cerebellum as a result of stretching of the eye muscles.
