Abstract
Prosthetic replicates of blood vessels and selected organs systems offer a potential solution to the growing demand in vascular surgery. In the present article, we discuss the role of blood flow on cell-graft interaction; the role of blood flow on protein-graft interaction; the influence of von Willebrand's Factor in platelet graft-interaction; and studies in in vivo graft implants.
