Abstract

Using tetrabutylorthotitanate as a precursor, I-doped TiO2 photocatalyzer is obtained by sol-gel method. Irradiated by solar color dysprosium lamp, the effect of the preparation conditions of I-doped TiO2 powders and its additions, the solution pH, and the concentration of H2O2 on the photocatalytic degradation for methylene blue is studied. It is found that when the calcination temperature is 500 °C, the ratio of I is 10%, the addition of I-doped TiO2 is 1.5 g/L, the solution pH is 8, the photocatalytic activity of I-doped TiO2 for the degradation of methylene blue is the best.
