Abstract

This article reviews published studies related to the effects of war stress on American and Israeli civilians and American veterans during Operation Desert Shield/Storm. While the primary focus is on psychological symptoms and syndromes, we recognize that the distinction between physical and psychological illness is often unclear and at times artificial. © 2007
