Abstract

Papillary adenofibroma of the uterus is a rare tumour known as the benign counterpart of homologous malignant mixed mesodermal tumour of Müllerian origin (carcinosarcoma of the uterus). Only 21 cases of such a tumour have been reported in the uterus and in the cervix (Abdell, 1971; Grimalt et al., 1975; Teilium, 1976).
