Abstract
Pancreatic tumors and cysts represent an important entity because of their association with malignancy. Pancreatic cancer is an aggressive disease with poor survival rates. Pancreatic cystic lesions are a heterogeneous group of lesions, subgroups of which have potential for malignant transformation. Understanding the clinical presentation, investigations, and management approach is key to identifying patients with these conditions so that early intervention can be performed with hopes for the best outcome. This chapter reviews the epidemiology, investigations, and management of pancreatic tumors and cysts.
