Abstract

Microperimetry appears to offer a useful, additional, and perhaps more sensitive description of retinal visual function than visual acuity alone. The intrinsic registration of the OCT/SLO microperimeter allows integrated testing of retinal sensitivity and retinal anatomic pathology which may be useful for exploring a variety of form versus functional relationships.
