Abstract
We report a case of oat cell carcinoma of the cervix whose diagnosis was established by light and electron microscopic studies. The patient was pregnant with a male fetus, and was given a course of cis-diamminedichloroplatinum before definitive surgical therapy. The effects of this treatment upon the tumor and the fetus are discussed.
