Abstract
Six episodes of nodular panniculitis are described. They occurred in three patients after the end of prolonged administration of large doses of prednisone. The relationship of this syndrome to rheumatic "rebound," erythema nodosum and Weber-Christian syndrome is discussed and the possibility of relieving its manifestations by further cautious administration of prednisone is pointed out.
