Abstract
Localized prostate cancer treatment aims to achieve a cure while maintaining urinary continence and sexual function. In order to obtain a balance between oncologic resection and functional preservation during Robotic-Assisted Radical Prostatectomy, a personalized approach based on the oncologic characteristics of the patient as well as a thorough anatomical understanding are essential. In the present chapter, we summarize the neuroanatomy of the prostate gland, different surgical techniques of nerve-sparing during RARP, and tips and tricks that can help achieve trifecta outcomes.
