Abstract

The purpose of this report is to suggest an association between narcotic addiction and nephrotic syndrome in young adults. Seven case reports suggest that the incidence of nephrotic syndrome in the addict population is greater than in the population at large. Despite the therapy practiced, the progression of the disease suggests that this syndrome in drug addicts is an entity with a poor prognosis.
