Abstract
Numerous botanicals contain substances with potential dermatologic benefits. Advances in technology and science have greatly improved the ability to study the therapeutic potential of botanical components, to extract those substances that demonstrate safety and efficacy, and to formulate the extracts into dermatologic products. Increasingly, these products are proving useful in the management of photoaging.
