Abstract
The occurrence of transverse linear milia cysts over the dorsum of the nose in an 11‐year‐old girl is described. Two younger sisters of the proband had a conspicuous nasal groove at the same site without milia. The anatomical basis and the pathogenesis of the so‐called‘transverse nasal crease’are reviewed.
