Abstract

A septic patient presented with a new cardiac murmur and was found to have a right atrial mass on echocardiogram. MRI showed a mildly contrast-enhancing lesion consistent with an infected mural thrombus. The differential diagnosis, incidence, and MRI appearance of various cardiac lesions are reviewed.
