Malignant transformation of extragenital endometriosis

Malignant transformation of extraovarian endometriosis is rare. Most of these neoplasms are endometroid carcinomas. Sarcomas and mixed Mullerian t tumors have also been reported. The role of HRT in the malignant transformation of endometriosis remains controversial.
