Abstract
Patients with pulmonary hypertension (PH) undergoing thoracic surgery have a higher morbidity and mortality compared with other procedures. However, when a specialized and focused multidisciplinary care team performs their assessment, optimization, intraoperative management and postoperative monitoring, their procedures can be safely performed.
