Lipoproteins as risk factors for vascular disease in diabetes

This article focuses on the relationship of parameters of glucose control and obesity to plasma lipoprotein abnormalities among males and females with long standing insulin treated diabetes mellitus in a stable clinic setting. The data are drawn from the Mount Sinai Diabetes Clinic where over 400 insulin treated patients have been systematically studied over the past two years.
