Abstract

The monoamine oxidase A (MAOA) and B (MAOB) genes have been localized to chromosome Xp 11.3. Recently-defined polymorphisms and linkage analysis have shown tight linkage between MAOA and MAOB, with a distance of approximately 2.7 cM between them.
